How to plan a Group Outing, without catering:

Groups under 100 guests:

  • Minimum 15 people.
  • Choose the date for your event.
  • Preregister at least 24 hours in advance of your event.
  • A $100 deposit is required, which can be handled via phone.
  • Add Meal Vouchers, Cool Cash Cards, or Frankenstein’s Castle if you like.
  • The day of the event, your group leader must visit our Groups Booth in the South Parking lot to check-in (far left booth as you approach the suspension bridge).  All group members will need to be present at check-in. The final attendance number may be adjusted at that time but the remaining balance for the group must be paid prior to issuing wristbands for entry to the park.
  • Payment must be made in one transaction, not by individual group members.
  • Sorry, we cannot offer these rates to walk-up groups.

Groups over 100 guests:

  • Choose the date for your event.
  • Estimate the total number of guests who will attend.
  • Add Meal Vouchers, Cool Cash Cards, or Frankenstein’s Castle if you like.
  • A 25% deposit of the total estimated sale is required to hold your discounted rate and to deliver tickets or wristbands to you in advance of your event.
  • Your group will only be charged for the tickets redeemed the day of your event. Extra tickets should be returned to the Group Sales Department the day of your event. Unreturned tickets will be invoiced to you.

How to plan a Catered Picnic:

  • Estimate the number of guests that will attend.
  • Contact our Group Sales Department at 574.583.4141 x 7085 so we can assist you with the details.
  • Choose the date for your event.
  • Choose a pavilion for your meal service (based upon availability).
  • Finalize the agreement and pay a 25% deposit to lock in your date and pavilion (the meal price will be estimated).
  • Choose your catered meal option (event price will be adjusted based upon selection).
  • Add any extra items you would like to offer to your group.
  • Notify your Account Executive of any need for a PA system, BINGO equipment, or special items.
  • Distribute the wristbands and meal tickets in advance, or outside the park gates on the date of your event.
  • Submit a final catering count 2 weeks prior to your event date – the meal charge on your final invoice will be based upon your final catering count, not upon actual attendance.
  • Return any unused wristbands to your Account Executive on the day of your event and they will be credited to your invoice.
  • You will receive an invoice within 48 hours of your event.
  • Payment in full is due within 10 days of receipt.

 

Indiana Beach Academic Programs

Academic Groups seeking an educational field trip should look no further!
Book your Academic Group with Indiana Beach Boardwalk Resort and receive a special, discounted rate*. Academic Groups have the option of selecting one of two exclusive Academic Days, not open to the General Public. This special rate includes admission to the park as well as unlimited access to our amusement park rides for the duration of your one-day visit. It does not include access to the water park, the Skycoaster, the Haunted Castle or the Zip Lines.

For every 25 paying students, you may receive one complimentary chaperone Spectator Pass, which will grant access to the park. Should that chaperone wish to upgrade to a ride pass, he/she may do so for the student price. All other chaperones/bus drivers shall pay the student price.

Preregistration and a $100 deposit are required for all academic groups.

Educational Programs

WORKBOOKS:
To add an educational component to your field trip, feel free to download one of our Academic Workbooks (available Spring 2017). These Academic Workbooks come at no additional cost and feature IB-themed questions and problems geared toward helping students practice English, science, and mathematical skills while having fun at an amusement park. Workbooks are optional. Academic Groups are more than welcome to simply come and play for the day.

ACADEMIC EGG DROP:
Students will have the opportunity to design a protective casing for an egg, which will then be dropped from a significant height on one of our two designated Academic Days.  Students can design their own “egg-protecting” packages out of recycled materials before arriving at Indiana Beach.  We will host a special “Egg Drop” event each Academic Day (May 18 and May 19, 2017).  Eggs will be individually dropped from a significant height with the goal of keeping the egg from cracking upon landing.  Students will have the opportunity to utilize creative problem solving as they design their protective casings.  All casings must be crafted prior to arrival.  All materials for this project, including eggs, must be provided by the school group.

FLYER COMPETITION:
This program is geared toward students of all ages.  Each student may design his/her own promotional flyer advertising Indiana Beach Boardwalk Resort.  Submissions must be turned in to Indiana Beach by Thursday, May 11, 2017.  Students may use any method to generate their flyer, including graphic design. All submissions will be categorized into age-based subgroups for judging.  Submissions will be judged by Indiana Beach staff.  Winning submissions will be announced during our designated Academic Days.  Winning submissions may or may not be used for promotional purposes.  By submitting an entry, students are granting Indiana Beach permission to use those entries as part of our marketing campaign.  All winning submissions may be featured in a Marketing Art Show on site during a portion of our 2017 season.  Submissions become the property of Indiana Beach Boardwalk Resort and will not be returned.  Prizes for winning entries will be announced this spring (2017).

Consignment Tickets:

  • Save $13.99 per ticket! Only $26 each!
  • No cost to your company or organization.
  • Sell physical tickets to your employees or members at your location.
  • Tickets must be ordered in multiples of 25.
  • You can order more as needed.
  • Payment for tickets sold is due at the end of each month.
  • At the end of the season, simply pay for the remainder of tickets sold and return the unsold consignment tickets.
  • Price can be adjusted to be used as a fundraiser.
